There can be many reasons for your neck pain and it is very individual to each person we see. Neck pain is very common and something we see on a daily basis at Progressive Physical Therapy. In a lot of cases tightness or pain can be due to your neck muscles over working for other muscles that might be under active. Some issues that can contribute to this may be your breathing patterns, the way you sit at your desk, stress and previous injuries.
